THE FARM CAFE
Watch out for the wasps. Had a lovely breakfast on the weekend. Service was fast, food was fresh and tasty.
Only problem was the wasps. Half way through the meal two wasps would not leave us alone. We had to keep leaving our table while they hovered over our food. We asked to move tables, however there was nothing free. We quickly finished our meals and left. On leaving we were told they are "gentle wasps" either way we didn't want to hang around.

THE RETREAT HOTEL
Great place to come for a quiet meal or drink. Wonderful old pub with charming decor and a homely feel. The dining room is more like an old pub in Ireland, with open fires and beautiful windows.
Service was very friendly and the menu has something for everyone. We had the chicken parma and the pie of the day. Both came out hot and fresh with perfectly cooked chips.
Wonderful place to come have a meal or a drink and not be overwhelmed with loud music or an unruly crowd.
